United Airlines Covid Confusion - please help

I am flying on what was initially termed a 'covid-tested' flight from Newark to Rome. Information from Italy indicates that a vaccinated person does not need to test or quarantine. However, United's website shows:
Destination: Rome-Fiumicino, IT
Test type: Molecular: PCR, Antigen/AG
Timing: Results must be issued no more than 48 hours before your arrival in Rome-Fiumicino (FCO)
Additional requirements
All arriving passengers must hold either
a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test taken no more than 48 hours prior to arrival; or
hold proof of completing vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days before arrival; or
hold proof of a previous positive COVID-19 test and document of recovery issued at least 14 days before departure and at most 6 months before arrival.
This appears to say I need both a PCR test and my proof of vaccination. Anyone insights?
Thanks!

Yes, it's says OR in the additional requirements. As written it appears one needs the Molecular: PCR, Antigen/AG plus one of the additional requirements.

Evelyn, I think you are reading more into it than what is there.
It lists the test type- but does not say there that it is required.
All you need to worry about is what is under "Additional Requirements"
Doesn't make sense that you would need TWO tests to board which would be implied by the way you are reading it.

"Molecular: PCR, Antigen/AG" is same as "a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test"

I think it is a badly written bit on United's part and I have a feeling they are updating their site now.
I am also traveling on United out of Newark on what was a COVID flight and right now I am not able to log in to my Travel Ready section.

Italy has dropped the test requirement if you are vaccinated and that is definite.

That is not how I read it -- personally think it is clear.

All arriving passengers must hold either ...... or ......... or hold proof of completing vaccination etc., etc.

However, IF you need a test then the test is .... Molecular: PCR, Antigen/AG, and the timing is set.

If you have had the vaccination at least two weeks ago and can prove it, you are good to go.

Thanks! It's the term "additional requirements" that I find confusing. I will just take a step back on follow the Italian rules.

I am sure that it is just broiler plate. Kind of a form that they use for each location. I view the "additional requirements" as simply trying to sum it up for Rome. Could be very different for another city.

I’m in Italy currently. Took a United flight at the end of June. You only need your vaccine card. They had us check it when we first got the tickets and then again up at the gate. No issues whatsoever. Super easy and everyone is amazing here.
