I've been to the Colosseum twice before but not since the Underground portion has been available to tour. I see numerous tours on the internet but all are quite pricey. Rick Steves has an ebook available for Colosseum. Does anyone know if it includes the info I need for the underground tour? Thanks.

You cannot go to the underground / third tier on your own. You will have to book a separate tour for that. The RS audio guide covers the main level of the Colosseum.
