Hi All, My husband & I will be in Rome in 2 weeks. We are thinking about taking a underground Coliseum tour but we're unsure which one to take. I've read about the Revealed Rome tour for 79 euros & also the one that you buy from the Coliseum, which is significantly cheaper. I'm having trouble understanding what the difference is between the two tours. According to the Revealed Rome website, some, but not all, of the tour guides you get in the other tour don't speak great English. How common is that? I'm fine paying more money if it's a better tour. Any information you can give is helpful. Thanks in advance!

The guides all speak English. That is revealed romes way of trying to scare people into taking their tour. I've taken the tour offered through the official site twice and did not have any problems understanding the guides. I've also had different friends and family take the tour and none of them complained about not being able to understand the guide. The only difference in the tours is the cost. The tours are exactly the same and cover the same areas. Save the money and book through the official site. Donna
