Renting car for Tuscany/umbria then we're going to Ravello/Positano but don't need car there. Where should we return rental car and catch train? Orvieto?
We need also to know how to go back to Rome from Positano. Thanks in advance

Can't help on the rental car. But, we took the boat from Positano to Salerno (about a 75 mins) and caught a fast train from Salerno to Rome (about two hours). The boat ride was lovely, and the walk from the dock to the train station is an easy few blocks.
