I'm in the early brainstorming stages of a trip for June 2025 with family, including two kids aged 9 and 10. My husband and I stayed at the agriturismo Antica Olivaia outside Orvieto in 2018 and I've been dreaming of going back. So I think we'll aim to stay at that same place for a week and day trip around Umbria, then I was thinking it might be fun to head to the mountains/Alps - Italian, German, whatever-- for a week. Any suggestions on whether this would be a good fit with kids, and what sort of itinerary or home base would be best?
