A lunch stop in Umbria at a winery is something that we REALLY want to do while in Italy. Any ideas on how to do it or who to book a reservation with? A private farm possibly? Thank you!

If you google "wineries in Umbria" you will find lots. Since I don't know where in Umbria you will be, it would be hard to recommend one.

We had a wonderful tour and agriturismo lunch with Gusto Wine Tours. No worries about drinking and driving, and they can get you into wineries you probably cannot get into on your own.

We just got back from a Rick Steves tour (Venice, Florence, Rome) and we stopped in Umbria for lunch and wine tasting. It was a highlight of the trip. Beautiful, quiet, great food, great wine and a really nice owner.
