Hello -
We are planning a family trip (11-14 people) to Umbria and staying in a villa not too far from Perugia and Assisi. Our plan is to relax and eat plus visit a few towns/markets. I need a little help in planning activities. We will have multiple cars. As a family, we like to eat, cook, learn new skills and visit markets and historical places. My mother can only walk for very short distances and uphill walking is difficult. She would like to do some of the following:
- visit ceramics artists and workshops/potentially take a workshop or class
- learn to make pasta with an expert at the villa
- go to the countryside on a truffle hunt (not sure if she can do this with limited walking)
- a massage or spa is always welcome
Can anyone recommend tours or chefs for the above? or any other must do activities that I have not mentioned?
The key would be doing things together while learning something and/or eating that is accessible for an older person.
Thank you.
