Umbria: Earthquake country - passable?

Has anyone recently been in the Valnerina recently, ie after the earthquakes? As I understand it, Norcia and some of the towns around it have been pretty much destroyed by the earthquakes in fall but how are the roads and other infrastructure? I understand the area is gorgeous (especially in spring) and I'd love to see it in a few weeks.

The snow has been removed so everything is passable. Only the ancient buildings have been damaged in Norcia, it's not that those cities are all destroyed.

Roberto da Firenze,
Apple Maps and viamichelin.com are showing several roads in Umbria and Le Marche as being impassable since the earthquakes in October. I have found no information that shows those roads have been repaired. The route from Norcia to Castelluccio previously took about an hour or less and now is showing anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours on Apple Maps or viamichelin.com.

If the roads between Norcia and Castelluccio have been repaired, I love to know about it so we can plan our trip accordingly.

Hey Marcus, three weeks ago major works were announced as "coming right up" on the SP 477 (the road that connects Norcia to Castelluccio). The road is at the moment only passable to agricultural workers and locals with a valid permit. There is no way of knowing when these works will be completed.

Alternative ways to get to Castelluccio exist, mind you, like through the Salaria Way and Arquata del Tronto. At some point on the road, though, you would need a pass from the town of Arquata itself, and those are released to locals, not travellers. So, in short, you won't be able to drive up there (but really, no one is. Just a handful of workers).
