We are planning to visit Umbria for 12 days. Can you recommend a guide book? Rick Steves doesn’t cover all we want to see. Are 12 days too much?
Thanks
I always go to bookstore or "the evil empire" (lol, you know what website I mean) and select the most recently published regional guide. You have Rough Guide, DK, and Bradt to choose from, all are good companies. If shopping online, watch out for fake books that are AI created and only go with real publishers.
I have never been anywhere I could not fill 12 days, and I am sure that is the case for Umbria!
Not at all! There’s so much to see and do. Assisi, Spello, try to schedule a wine tasting at Enoteca Properzio, Perugia, Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoreggio, and Cortona (Tuscany I know) but it’s a lovely city and not too far from Assisi.
