Uffizi visit

Hello
Please excuse me if this topic has been brought up as I cannot find how to search for previous topics.
Can anyone recommend a good tour company for the Uffizi? Or maybe just following R.S. Audio tour? We will be visiting first part of October.
Thank you

The Uffizi has an app that has a nice audio guide. It was a couple of bucks. Well worth it and I could go at my own pace rather than with a group.

We used RS audio tour for both Uffizi and Accadamia and really enjoyed them both. In fact, we listened to all of the RS Florence audio tours during our stay, and thought they were a great way to focus on many but not all exhibits, but go into detail and get some background. I also liked that I didn't feel overwhelmed because he starts you with a plan of 'attack' rather than wandering aimlessly. After following the RS audio tour we often wondered on our own to catch things he didn't cover.

I did the RS tours for both Uffizi and Accademia and was the only one in my group to do so as no one else wanted a formal tour. They are a little corny with typical RS humor, but hit the highlights with good info in a relatively short span (about an hour for each). Free was also a plus for me.
