The Vasari Corridor in Florence is now open. To obtain admission a combo ticket must be purchased. The site states that entrance to the Uffizi is two hours before entrance to the Corridor. Is it possible to enter more than 2 hours before? Anyone have experience with this yet? Can't find any information.
I can't find them now, sorry, but there have been a couple of other recent threads on this topic.
Everything I've read about the new ticket for the Uffizi+ Corridor states that you can enter the museum 2 hours before your reservation corridor and not before. but If you want to hear from the horse's mouth, sort of speak, why not contact the museum?

Karen, it would be great if you'd report back with what they tell you?

I second that. Lately I've been feeling rather strongly that it's been too long since I've visited Florence, and I'm excited about the corridor being reopened. 2 hours doesn't seem like much time in the Uffizi, so I'd appreciate any information you can pass along.
Just to add? In you've not already read up on the current appearance of the corridor, be aware that all of the former artworks have been removed to restore it to its original appearance. The focus is on the architecture and views outside the windows. That might be just fine for you but some recent visitors have expressed disappointment.

Thanks for all the responses.
The infouffizi responded and clarified, "The Uffizi must be entered two hours before." Lots of photos from the corridor.
I decided not to buy the combo because I may need more than 2 hours in the museum and I don't want to be checking my watch all the time.
Apparently there is an opportunity to add a Corridor pass to the Uffizi ticket if there is availability.
We just did this two weeks ago. We went two hours before and got right in. I don't know if they are enforcing the rule but call or go a bit earlier and ask at the queue (there are Uffizi staff monitoring the entrance). We've been to the Uffizi many times so the two hour was enough for us. The corridor is just that, no art displayed etc., but we enjoyed it. The views of Ponte Vecchio, the Arno, and the spot where the Medici's looked in at their church above the congregation were great to see. Just a note: when we got to the Vasari corridor, we had to show a picture ID to enter. We had copies of our passports with us and that worked fine,

Great, but the first-timer may want more time than that. Without the Corridor being accessible to us some years ago, we spent 5+ hours JUST in the museum. We're art-and-architecture fans so you may feel differently.
