I've posted my experienc with Michele Busillo over a year ago. I was so thrilled, I hired him again this year and was equally amazed at his knowledge, expertise and manner that I wanted post this again. We also added his skill for a tour of the Pitti Pallace. Here's what I said the first time and wanted to extend my thanks to Michele. By the way, he recommended another tour company for our visit to Rome. I'll post that seperately. Again, an excellent experience there too.
We just returned from our Florence, Siena and Rome trip and can't say enough how much we thoroughly enjoyed our Uffizi Gallery experience with Michele Busillo, an independent guide. He described the history surrounding each painting to give a full story of the artist and the era they lived. His description of the progression of painting styles and what influenced the painters over centuries gave a clear picture of specific elements in each artist's work. HIs tone and enthusiasm made the experience very enjoyable
