Uffizi Tip

Just did the Uffizi Gallery with a time slot for the Visari Corridor.

If you are doing the same they recommend two hours in the Uffizi before the meet up at the Corridor. You need to make it three hours.

The Tiburona Room had a wait of 45 minutes.

I missed the sign past the cafeteria that indicated that that was the only way down to the first floor.

Crowds were enormous so to get through the rooms is a very lengthy process.

Can only add that I loved the Uffizi.

I am certain that your tips are going to prove very helpful.

I'd strongly recommend getting the first tickets of the morning for the corridor tour and getting in line at the museum early then going straight up the stairs. I was not near the front of the line to get into the Uffizi before the corridor tour but I was signed up for the first tour of the morning. When I entered I skipped the temporary exhibit downstairs and headed straight upstairs. I was alone up there for so long that I got worried that I had somehow inadvertently passed by the guards and wasn't really supposed to be there. I'll never forget the feeling of standing there looking down the long statue lined hallway that was completely empty. It was surreal.
