Went to museum website laste evening and all days in July are "sold out". I know there are a bunch of other tickets sites that has tickets to Uffizi museums. Has anyone bought tickets through one of these sites? Some offer combination tickets to several Florence museums also. The prices are all over the place on some of these sites, so any advice would be appreciated.
The website has only a limited amount of tickets available for reservations. Call the Uffizi directly and I'm sure you'll still be able find time slots available for reservation. They do have English speaking agents on the phone. The whole transaction took me 3 minutes for reservations of Uffizi and Academia.
I emailed the owner of the B&B I'm staying at and she got me my reservations and emailed my confirmation. She was happy to do it for me!
Good luck.

Two years ago I attended in Venice, Italy the 100 year retrospective of Salvador Dali at the Palazzo Grassi. I was able to purchase my tickets via vivaticket and charta.it. It was very easy and secure, when we arrived in Venice, we were able to by pass the hundred or so people waiting in line for tickets and go ditrectly in. They have a great website and represent almost anything cultural in Italy from opera's to museums. I found out from a friend who lives in Milan that this is how she orders her tickets for most events. Hope it Helps
