Uffizi Tickets

Hello. I'm trying to figure out tickets for the Uffizi Gallery. I see that kids under 18 yrs old are free. I'm buying tickets online for myself and my husband for a slotted time. How do I handle my children's tickets? Do I need a kids ticket for them of something? Second, this may sound stupid but if I'm buying tickets for the first time slot of the day do I still purchase a skip the line ticket? And is there a difference between skip the line and priority entrance? And what does the additional 4 euros option mean? Thanks.

Taking a run at this....

Previous posts back in 2016 indicate that your kids were 11 then so they're about 15 now? While their tickets are technically free, you need to choose a time slot and 4,00 € "Gratuito/Free" reservation fee for each of them. For you and your husband, you'll choose the same time slot and buy Intero/Full tickets" for 16,00 € each; your reservation fee is included in that price. You don't need to purchase any additional tickets, and these will put you into the fast-track line for people who already have tickets/reservations.

You are using the official B-ticket website for the Uffizi, right?

See the "How to book museum visits online" directions of this page of the Uffizi's website; it tells you what to do with the confirmation email you'll get with your reservations, and be SURE and bring your children's passports for proof of age.

Unless things have changed (and I don't believe they have) only children under age 6 do not require reservations if visiting with pre-booked adults.
