Uffizi Gallery online reservations

Hello everyone:
I booked online our tickets to skip the lines into the Uffizi gallery in May. I actually booked through a company called Musement. Did I do wrong? I think I paid more than I should have as I see now that if I book on the Uffizi website it is cheaper? Is there any difference other than price? Thanks for any advice.

I should state that we have never been to Florence before. We are sort of searching blind at this point in time other than using Rick Steve's great travel books. I booked this before I received RS book on Florence and Tuscany.

Unless you can cancel them, what's done is done. You may have paid more than necessary (I think when I went last year it was 16 euro total, including a 4 E booking fee)... but don't worry about it now. The awesome thing is, you're going to see some of the most amazing artwork ever!

If you are going to make reservations to see the statute of David (and you must!)... use this site, the official one:

Have fun!

Thank you lcarter.

Can this website be seen in English for booking the accadamia?

Sorry. I do see where I can ask for English. But when I pick my date and time it says "seat plan". What does this mean? I thought we are booking entrance date and times?

I now wish to book entrance into the Accadamia.

Thank you for any advice.

Many booking sites speak of "seats" for all tickets, including things like museums where there are not selling seats, but admission tickets. Don't worry - it's just their terminology, and you are indeed booking admission to a museum rather than a seat at something else.

Here's a direct link for Accademia tickets: https://webshop.b-ticket.com/webshop/webticket/eventlist;jsessionid=B0ABDA1337A5338C7787E93DC3E95B5C?tokenName=CSRFTOKEN&languages=it&languages=en&production=4

Near the top on the left, you can change "Galleria Accademia" to "Galleria degli Uffizi" to book those tickets.

The seat designation is because the booking site probably also handles concert venues and they use a standard form for all reservations.

Re accademia.....when you get there....the hut to redeem yr invoice \voucher that you printed at home is on one side of the street, museum on the other. It is marked tickets....i wasnt sure that jet lagged 1st morning if thats where i was supposed to go. I was traveling w a group of 4....2 of us qued up on the museum & 2 of us went to the ticket hut....we ended up being the 1st people in museum & had david to ourselves for a bit!

Thanks all for the advice.

I booked my entrance date and time with no problems just now to the Accademia. No "seat plan" came up this time. Strange. It was very easy and the website was user friendly once I clicked on the "english" version. Lol. Since we are taking the train into Florence that day in the morning, I opted for an afternoon admission so we won't be rushed and have time to eat lunch, etc.

We are staying overnight and have an early morning reservation for Uffizi the next morning. Hopefully this will still give us plenty of time to explore the Duomo as well. We are taking the train from Cortona/Camucia. Hopefully that train runs early every morning. Does this sound like a good plan? This is all new to me.

Glad it worked out.
Your plan sounds good. The Uffizi only takes a couple of hours. It's very well laid out. You'll definitely have time to visit the Duomo later. If you want to go up the bell tower, plan some extra time for that. It's a LOT of steps (and I think it has an entrance fee), but the views from up there are pretty remarkable.

Have a great time!
