Has the price of the Uffizi admission gone up? My guidebooks say 6.40 Euro but the official site seems to be charging 10 + the 4 online reservation fee.
I would trust the website over the guide book. Guide books are usually out of date before they are printed. Go with the higher price and if it's lower then you got a bargain. Donna
The price of both the Uffizi Gallery and Accademia is 10 Euro plus 4Euro reservation.
Donna & Jo - Thanks. I guess it's just inflation. Janet
Both times I have gone to Florence I have used the online site to reserve tickets. I have never had a problem and it is well worth any extra charge. Having the passes in hand when I left the USA reduced a lot of stress.
I booked over the phone with an English-speaking operator. That way you are not paying in advance, but do get a res. number with an entrance time, to show when you get there. It was easy; just bear in mind the time change.
The number should be in Rick's Florence book.
