I booked entry times for the Uffizi and the Accademia and had to get an entry time for my husband 15 minutes later due to availability. Does anyone know why the Uffizi site gave us seat numbers? I hope I did not book the wrong thing. I just thought I was getting entry times.
Also anyone know the walking time from SMN station in Florence to the Uffizi? Is it reasonable to walk and to allow an hour from expected time of arrival to the gallary or should I try a cab?

The walk is about 15 minutes. Not sure on the seat thing, I looked at my ticket and it says nothing about seat number, maybe just an anomaly in the system. Or, perhaps you inadvertently signed up for a restoration seminar ;-)
Here's the walk:
Many of the ticketing systems for museums give "seat numbers" because they're set up for ticketing other things, like performances. So, you can ignore the seat numbers.
