I've read how a lot of people had problems using B tickets for museum reservations in Florence and I'm in the same boat. Someone mentioned that they received their confirmation about a week and a half later. I have yet to receive anything and will be leaving in two days! My question is has anyone ever gone to the Uffizi or Accademia without ever receiving their confirmation numbers and did you have any problems getting in?

Yikes. I did not use that system, and I don't know anything about it. I guess I'd print out anything I could that showed that you sent in payment: credit card statement, bank statement, etc, and also any emails you've sent. Show it to them when you get there and go from there. If they say you don't have a reservation, I think I'd pay for it right there and then contact the credit card co (or whomever) and make sure the charge does NOT go through for the initial reservation you made previously. Thanks Robyn...The only problem is nothing has been charged to my card yet.
Has anyone not received a confirmation AND not been charged yet? Oh well I guess I'll just wait and see it's too late now...

Both museums have phone #'s...try to call. I would guess there was a problem accomodating your request.

Hi Roxanne, I used B-tickets and it did take a week or 2 to get the e-mail confirm and then another 1 or 2 after that before they charged my CC. I had printed out as a temporary receipt the confirmation of my transaction (basically I just did print screen)in case I did not get the confirmation. The confirmation that did finally come was not much different than that anyway. I would just take that to the window if you have it. The staff there were very friendly and I don't think it would be too much of a problem (at least at the Accademia).

I ordered tickets for early october on monday got my confirm email today.
