Just booked tickets to both of the above, but when I received confirmation it said Row 1, seats 1861 and 1862. Did I screw up? Just wanted entrance tickets to the museums. Is this how they write the tickets? Bought the tickets at the polomusei/Firenze site as recommended. These are just entrance tickets right?

I am no expert, having never been to either site, but I have read elsewhere that the tickets come out with seat numbers. Probably just a way of them keeping track of how many tickets they are selling or something like that. I think you should be fine. :)

This happens with the Borghese tickets, too. Could be for an internal count of the limited number of people admitted at a specific appointment time.

Thank you both so much..yes, I think I'm fine..just twitchy I bought something I didn't want. That they number the "seats" was a little confusing. Not to mention my Italian is awful!!

Hey nrsloan, you are really lucky! As I remember, Row 1, seats 1861 and 1862, are the best seats in town! Enjoy.
