Fourteen of us will be staying in a villa in impruneta. Although we will have a car, is there taxi or uber service from impruneta and vice versa ? I know there is a bus service but was just curious if there was taxi service so that people without the car can get to and from Florence.

There will be a taxi from Florence to Impruneta, but from Impruneta to Florence, you will probably have to call the Taxi from Florence to come and pick you up.
All I can tell you is that with the price of a one way taxi ride you can comfortably rent an extra rental car for a day.
Uber Black (a professional luxury limo service) is the only Uber service allowed to operate in Italy (in Rome, Milan, and Florence, although they plan to exit the Florence market soon).
With 14 people in the party, all staying in a rather rural location like a villa in or near Impruneta, I would rent at least 4 economy cars. Renting a van (which can accommodate a max of 9 people, including the driver), will cost you as much as renting 3 economy cars.

The price of a ride from the city center to Impruneta is around 50€ one way with a private car service. You can rent a car for a week for 200€ with full zero deductible insurance.
