I know the U.S. Consulate is located in the Marco Polo airport, but does anyone know where it is (in the airport)? What floor? I've looked at the airport official maps, but it is not listed. Help, please!
The Consular Agency is located in the General Aviation Terminal (private flights) of the Marco Polo Airport at the airport’s boat docks. The closest parking lot is Parking Lot 1. ACTV (www.actv.it) and ATVO (www.atvo.it) buses run frequent service to the airport’s commercial terminal, which is just a 5 minute walk from the office following posted signs for the boat docks. Alilaguna (www.alilaguna.it) boats depart from Venice and dock at the General Aviation Terminal where the office is located.

Be aware that the Venice Consulate does not issue emergency passports. Closest cities are Milan or Florence. Two years ago they both closed for passports at noon daily. I doubt if that has changed.
Thank you!
