I'm flying Delta, Alitalia into Catania and out of Palermo. I think my trip begins with the first leg in Palermo with a stop in Rome for 1 hour 25 mins. will that be enough time to get to the Delta gate?
Since I'll already be inside the secure area in FCO, I won't have to go thru security on my way to an international flight will I? I just wanted to make sure I haven't missed something before I select the "buy ticket now" button.
If its flt DL6604 connecting to DL65 that you are buying on the Delta site you should be good.
An airline has no interest in selling tickets to impossible connections and then being obligated to 'make it good' if/when something goes haywire.
We had no problems with an Alitalia itinerary similar to yours. FCO makes it all very easy especially in the very nice Alitalia Terminal.
Small special passport control, fast, no lines.
Just be real sure you are buying one ticket (all the way, with a stop), not two separate tickets.
