For parking at your hotel in Venice, this site offers information: http://www.hotellocandaovidius.com/Location.htm (note that the parking will not be near your hotel, but you won't need your car). It may be that no one here has personal experience parking with San Marco Parking, you'll want to check out their prices, compared to Tronchetto. Many people don't park in Venice (no streets). Those who end up with rental cars in Venice generally use the parking structures at Tronchetto, at the end of the road, where the water starts.
