Two nights in Otranto too much?

Hi there,

I am going to be in Puglia in September and am doing a tour that ends in Otranto. I am considering staying an extra couple of days there and am wondering if this is reasonable, or if it's not worth staying the extra time. Any advice would be appreciated.

I like Otranto, but Lecce would be a good choice, too.
