We were just in Torino for two days and easily could have stayed an extra day. It's a good blend of history with the Royal palace, beautiful architecture ( could have spent a day just taking photos) and culture. The cogwheel train up to Superga is a "must do". We selected a few restaurants through TripAdvisor - very please with those, and the prices were noticeably less. We stayed at TownHouse 70 which was a block from the royal palace piazza - again, very reasonable cost with a large room, huge bathroom, and excellent breakfast.
We happened to be there during their major choir singing exhibition, and participated in a sing-a-long concert in one of the main piazzas, filled with people. As we were leaving town, they were setting up for a "Italy Slow Eats" in several areas, making it difficult to leave town!
