We will be in Florence and Vernazza at the end of July. We have two days after Vernazza before flying home from Florence. I'm looking for guidance on where to go for those days (preferably somewhere a little less warm than Florence). I am tempted by Ravenna, but see that would be a lot of travel time. We like nature, food and history. Agree that advance planning would have helped-thanks for any input!

ravenna is way too far.
I would do Lucca and Pisa for a day and Florence for the other one.
Florence is a must where poeple spend usually 2-3 days.
Spend at least a day, it's unique.
