Twin beds in Vernazza?

My friend and I are traveling to Vernazza in August, and are looking for a double, with two twins instead of one double bed. Many places seem to only have double beds. Its been my experience that many European doubles often are two twins pushed together, which doesn't seem to be the case here. Does anyone have suggestions for rooms that have twin beds?

Thanks, Catherine

I know that at least 1 room (and, maybe more - they only have 4 rooms) at La Mala has 2 twins (that, as you said, can also be locked together, but you don't want that). It's an expensive place, but it was worth every penny of the splurge.

The Italian phrase for what you want is "letti singoli." I'd say about half of the places we stayed had twin beds that could be pushed together ("letto matrimoniale").

Several places in Vernazza have 2 beds. I've reserved a room at Martina Callo's rooms for October that has a sea view and 2 beds for 75 euros. Franca Maria also has rooms with 2 beds. Both get good reviews on tripadvisor. Good luck!
