Twin Beds in Florence

My college roommate and I are spending a week in late September based out of Florence. We want to stay in the say room, but in twin beds. Any suggestions as to a hotel, pension, or apartment? Thank you.

Thank you very much. Would it be best to look for an apartment since we will be staying for a week? We are both in our sixties and will be traveling without our husbands.

Jan, I'm not sure if the beds at Istituto Gould were doubles or twins, but a 2 bedded room with a shower is only 55 EUR per night. This listing is in Rick's Italy guide. We thought it was a fabulous deal for an expensive city like Florence and the location was nice,as well. Apartments are also great, but it would be hard to find one close to this price, especially when cleaning fees, the (sometimes) cost of wiring money for the deposit, etc. are added in.
