Can anyone suggest some winery tours within driving distance of San Gimignano? Appreciate all the help!

Montalcino is probably the Superbowl of wineries. Perhaps the best there is--anywhere. That would also be a good place to start a tour.

Highly recommend Avignonesi Winery. Fabulous experience. Thake the tour with tasting and lunch. Well worth it.

We had a driver for the day while in Florence. We did Guardastelle just outside of San Gimignano---a combo wine tasting/lunch and tour. Beautiful location.
Then on to Volpaia. Loved it and girl leading the tour/tasting was wonderful. Beautiful old town. We really enjoyed their wines.
