Tuscany Wine Day Tour from Florence

My husband and another couple are visiting Florence in April and want to do a Tuscany wine tour one day but are overwhelmed with our options! I would LOVE recommendations of good wine/tuscany tours from Florence for us to look into based on experiences you've had. Thank you!

Roberto Becci is a "friend and fellow tour guide" of Rick Steves. He does tours around the Sienna/Florence/Chianti area. Www.toursbyroberto.com. You will definitely go to a winery, but he really wants to show the whole area and off-the-beaten-path places, not just hop from winery to winery. We did the Clay Hills tour and went to a tiny town with lots of history, an organic farm/Brunello di Montalcino winery for a lunch where the family made a delicious meal from scratch, then to the Sant Antimo Monastery where Roberto led us on a tour. He is very personable and creates a memorable day. He drives an 8 passenger Mercedes van.
On his website, if you click "Day Tours" or Calendar, you can get an idea of what he offers. Also, if you call, someone will speak English. They will accommodate on their free days, too. Roberto is married to an American and lived in the States for a while, so his English is great.
Great reviews on Trip Advisor, also.

If you want a small group tour, Tuscan Wine Tours by Grape Tours is a lovely one. I took their tour a year ago and it was great. Lots of education, wine, food and lovely Tuscan scenery. It was likely the highlight of my 17 day trip.

I used Florencetown for a couple of the visits but not specifically for the Wine Tour. I had pretty good luck with their other tours and their pizza/gelato making class was so much fun.

When going to Siena and San Gimiingano, there were only 4 of us. I specifically look for small group tours so you don't feel you are hearded like cattle.
