Tuscany Wedding - other stops input needed

Coming in June for a wedding in Tuscany. Struggling with the where to go before and after- open to suggestions. Do I need to come extra day early for Lake Como? Or take a day off somewhere else? Places to swap out for others? Had also considered Cinque Terre but can't find much for places to stay there? Thanks in advance!!

June 5th- Arrive Milan airport –Head to Lake Como

June 6th- Lake Como

June 7th- Portofino

June 8th- Portofino

June 9th- Florence

June 10th- Florence

June 11th- June 15th Tuscany (wedding events- check out on 15th)

June 15th- Rome

June 16th- Rome

June 17th- Rome

June 18th- HOME

I would not want to travel all that way and get to the lakes and then turn around and leave the next day. I would nix Portofino and either stay in the lakes region OR one Ligurian spot en route to Florence.
Where are you searching for accommodations and do you have special needs?

Are the flight dates set in stone?

I would suggest EITHER, Lake Como or Portofino ( 3 nights ) and add a night in Rome. As you list it you have 2 full days in Rome and part of the arrival day from Florence.

Heartily agree with valadelphia. One reason: Portofino is outlandishly expensive. If you want Liguria, stay in Santa Margherita Ligure and make a daytrip to Portofino. And one to Camogli.

I agree to nix Portofino! We couldn’t wait to get out of there!
Both Santa Margherita Ligure and Camogli are wonderful seaside towns.
Add a day to Lake Como to make traveling there worthwhile.
