We will be leaving cinque terre and staying one night in Florence may 12. Want to be in Naples by May 15. Is it feasible to rent car in Florence May 13-15 and take time to drive to see Tuscany and below. Drop car off in Naples. Or forgo driving and do trains on way down?

Do you plan to see any of Florence? If so, that would be at least the 13. That leaves you one day. You won't have any time to relax and explore, so what's the point? What do you want to see?

I’ve been to Florence. Just stopping there from cinque terre. If we left on 13th we would have three days to travel by car to Naples. Then back to Rome for two days and fly home on 19th. Trying to decide if I’m squeezing too much in There’s a little more flexibility with car to see countryside
