I apologise in advance if this question has been answered already. I have searched for weeks and thought I would put out a 'help' to anyone that could recommend a 2 bedroom, stay for 9 nights in Tuscany that would be walking distance to a town or village. We are 2 adult couples and although will have car for visiting the sights in Tuscany for 10 days, would love to be able to walk into town for dinner sometimes. Would appreciate any experiences or recommendations . Thanks!

Are you seeking only a place outside of a town or are you willing to stay in the village or town? Montepulciano and Montalcino should have tons of VRBO or Homeaway flats.

Hi Laurel..thanks for your quick response!
I suppose I'm trying to achieve both. Would love to have Tuscan views space & out of town feel, but with the ability of walking 15 - 30mins into town for eating & wandering. I am also staying 10 nights in june in Montalcino in a villa/house very close to town, but this property is booked for our dates in May.

Hi – we stayed at a b&b outside of Montepulciano this past summer called Fonte Martino (www.fontemartino.com). It has become one of our all-time favorite places we have ever stayed! I don’t think they have a 2 bedroom room, but they do have 2 rooms that are next to each other separate from the main house. We stayed in one of them and it was stunning.
The walk to town is about 30-35 minutes and is a beautiful walk, which we did many times.

You're welcome! Hope it works out, but if not, take a look at Charming Homes (charminghomesmontepulciano.com). These are apartments in Montepulciano, a little different than your original request, but really nice. We stayed in Alberto 57 (one of the apartments) a few years back. It has 2 bedrooms.
