Looking for a nice scenic route from Val d'Orcia down to the Etruscan area around Petigliano. Has anyone driven the route through Seggiano, Arcidosso and Semproniano? The Michelin maps lists the roads as marked in green, eg scenic, but it a pretty big detour vs just using the main R2 road. Is it really that nice? Does anyone out there have first hand experience?
