Heading to Italy in middle of October with family of 5. ( All daughters ,12, 9 and 7) Any family friendly restaurants off the beaten path you can recommend? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

We liked the Puccini restaurant located across from the museum (Puccini). Restaurant has nice outside dining and there were some family groups dining. I should add that the food was very good. Loved Lucca!

Two restaurants that I always go back to when I am visiting Lucca are Da Giulio and Da Francesco. Da Giulio is in the shadow of the walls and Da Francesco is very near the church of San Michele.
