Hello, I'm locked into a trip and planning late due to family illness. In Tuscany May 23-31, having a really hard time finding nice renta, either vila, agri, hotel....need beds for 4, prefer AC and no smoking. Not high end but something very nice for a special occasion. After dozens of hours searching, I may need a travel agent. Biggest problem is that so many places have wkd to wkd only rentals which don't work with our dates. Thanks for any help!

Look on www.booking.com and set your criteria for number of persons. Tuscany is a rather large region, I'd be surprised you cannot find anything to your liking. Good luck!

I went on vrbo.com, plugged in your dates for Tuscany and several rentals popped up. You're right that usually they like week to week, but you might try these and see if the owners accept. Many times if they don't have someone during those weeks, they will book you. I didn't look at Airbnb, but try there as well.

We stayed at Borgo Casato, now listed as an agriturismo, but then calling itself a "country home" -- nice hotel, great restaurant, lovely pool overlooking Chianti hills. Found it on booking.com, which is my go-to source. There should be a number of great places on booking.com; filter by desired area, number of guests and date range. Note that these listings often/ usually rent for more flexible time spans than full weeks.
