We will be in Italy for 2 weeks in June. We would like to stay in Tuscany for 2-3 days and experience the countryside. We would love to stay some place that makes its own wine as we love wine. While in Tuscany we would like to drink wine, relax, see some animals, and meet some interesting people.
Any suggestions?

Abraham: Yes, I had the same question when I first read the question: I've never before heard someone say they were going to Tuscany to "see animals." Not that kind of place.

When I read it, I assumed they were talking about wanting an agriturismo with farm animals...pigs, cows, chickens, etc.
What about all the wild boar they're always talking about as being a prime ingredient of great Tuscan cooking?
