Hey guys....need your help again....having a tough time finding B&B in the Tuscany Hill country....my wife and I are looking for nice quiet place to see the hills and maybe rent a car to drive to Pisa for just for the day....and back to the B&B and relax for about 2-3 days..... any suggestions? thanks shawn

We used Airbnb and are staying in a lovely old house - "Localita Arbia". The description is: Charming Nido in mediaeval borgo. Hope you can find it.

Hello Shawn, We stayed at residence rocca del palazzaccio for 3 nights in July 2012. It is located in Tavarnuzze part of Tuscany close to Firenze. You can take a bus to the city center of firenze in about 25 minutes. They have apartments, with pool, nice surrounding hill sides, use of washing machine and drying racks. They even added wine tasting and massage therapists can come to their place for massages. Also, regarding Pisa, we left our luggage at the train station, took bus to leaning tower and we stopped off for about 1.5 hours. Then back to train station and on to Monterosso. Or you can take the train from florence and stay in tavarnuzze...maybe see Pisa in am then relax back at the pool in pm? This trip we didn't rent a car. Buon viaggio!
