Tuscany first week December?

Hello! Husband and I hoping to visit Tuscany November 30 - December 8 this year, first time visit.

We are fine with the weather, my question is, will there be enough open and available to us at that time to make the trip worth it? I've read a lot about many things being closed, and more on what happens later in the month, but don't see much on early December. We are planning Florence, San Gimignano, and Siena, but are open to other ideas in the area if any of those will be totally dead during that time. Many thanks for any guidance any of you can offer!

I've been in Florence in late November a couple of times and it was totally open for business. I believe the Christmas market in Piazza Santa Croce will be open during your visit. You may encounter shorter hours and perhaps some closings off season, but Tuscany won't be totally dead. I really enjoy being there that time of year.

Early December you'll find the stores setting up their Christmas displays an there are several Christmas Markets. Churches will have Nativity scenes being set up. All the Museums will be open for your time frame. Pre purchasing timed entry tickets will save valuable time. Buy them here.
