Tuscany by Car the Complete guide (Kindle book)

A few weeks ago I had posted a question about Tuscany gems not in RS book(we’d already visited most places).
I found a Kindle book that I purchased and downloaded that recommends many towns, places to stay, view points, restaurants, wineries, etc. Once you purchase the book it gives a link to download POIs to your GPS device and google maps. Provides actual GPS coordinates with links.

In March, After picking up our car rental in Lucca, we are going to try the book/Garmin for our adventure down the Tuscany Coast exploring Merrema and then east to Civita di Bagnoregio before we drop the rental and take train back home.

Has anyone else come across this book and tried it? Regardless, I’ll post the results as a trip report.

The book is divided into 5 areas 1)Florence, 2) Lucca, Pisa 3) Chanti 4) Central Tuscany Hill towns 5) Marrema

Hi Valedelphia,

I would be interested in hearing about Maremma. We are staying there at Castagneto Carducci for 4 days in late June/early July.We want to visit Surveto and Bolgheri and we are hoping to find some villages with food fairs.I would love any recommendations on places to visit or things to do.Thanks.Cheers Bruce

PS Karen ,
I have this e-book,but haven't used yet,as we aren't in Tuscany till June.I would love to hear how it went with using it on your trip.I love e-books,but would love a real book copy of this.

Southposs,
Today, I’ll spend time updating the Garmin and Google maps and let you know how it goes
I really wish the book at an overview map with the towns mentioned for each section. Too spoiled with RS books.

Valadelphia,
Once I put a rough plan together, I’ll post to see if you have any suggestions.

I was reviewing the Florence chapter and used link to find a studio apartment. Looks really nice on PIazza Signoria for $109/night -€95 (non refundable). 9.3 rating on booking, com with good reviews and they welcome dogs! They have larger apartments too, worth looking at for Florence.
