We are traveling with our teenage daughter who is a great cook and very excited to take a pasta/cooking class while in Tuscany next month. Looking for recommendations outside of Florence as we have a rental car. Open to all suggestions 😊
Look at Divina Cucina in Tuscany. We didn’t take her classes but a chef who cooked a meal for us in our villa in Chianti recommended her.
Is there a particular reason why outside of Florence as there are culinary ‘schools’ in Florence that offer a variety of classes. As this is of interest to me too, I saw this one https://tuscany-cooking-class.com/cookery-classes-in-italy/one-day/ that is a bit different sounding than the typical TripAdvisor, Viator, etc offerings. That being said, we had a lot of fun on a tour offered class just outside Florence at a farmhouse, but it is definitely more the tourist type class-some hands on, some done for you and pasta all on your own.

If you are near San Gimingnano, I recommend Il Vicario. Wonderful hosts and great recipes. Learn to make pici by hand and other delights. Katia or Fulvio will welcome you like family. The lessons are held at their b and b if you want a few days in Tuscany. Recommend them highly!
