Hi, all (again)! We'll be in Tuscany for five nights in early July. Looking for some fun activities we can do with our almost-15-year-old son. In Provence last year we kayaked under the Pont du Gard, rode e-bikes on a greenways, visited the Carrieres dee Lumieres...anything similar in Tuscany? Thank you in advance for any recommendations!
Tuscan caves are fun to explore, castles, etruscan sites. Have your teen do a photo journal of these wonderful sights. Also the landscapes and walled villages are a delight. There are many . san gimignano, Siena, orvieto. Perhaps Assisi also at edge of tuscany in Umbria.
You can bike on top of Lucca's city wall.
Was going to add the walls of Lucca - you can bike, jog or walk; take a picnic. The walls are about 4 kilometers, with several places to enter/exit.
