My husband and I will be visiting my daughter in Florence in May. We would like to rent a car and visit several wineries. Where is a good place to stay that is centrally located to different wineries?
We would like to stay somewhere that is nice $150-$400 a night. Also, do you have specific suggestions on wineries to visit and restaurants? We pl to stay 2-3 nights. Thanks so much!

For the Chianti region just south of Florence, you could stay here: http://www.borgosicelle.it/ There's wine tasting in the area. Didn't do wine tasting because hubby didn't want to indulge and drive. Loved staying at this agriturismo. Very quiet and there was a great restaurant right across the street.
Or, you could stay here which has wineries in the area. http://www.hotellevolpaie.it/
We have stayed at Hotel Volpaie several times and enjoyed the air conditioned rooms (summer) and the wonderful buffet. This B&B was closer to Volterra with wineries on the way.
