Hello everyone!
My husband and I are traveling to Italy for our 10th anniversary. We are looking for recommendations for a place to stay in Tuscany. I would prefer a place with its own vineyard, olive oil farm and cooking classes. Bonus points if the lodgings are in an old castle!
Look at these. All are wonderful, great wine, food and ambiance.
Agriturismo Marciano.
We stayed at Castillo di Verrazzano and had a wonderful time! Be sure to fast for a couple of months first, though.
While I haven't stayed at either of these places (yet), I think Castello Banfi looks wonderful and we are booked to stay at Castello la Leccia this summer. They are in two different locations in Tuscany and at different price points. I'd recommend checking them out and reading their reviews on tripadvisor.
LaConda Dell'Artista outside of SanGimignano is wonderful! While they do not have a vineyard, they do have and olive oil farm, and a restaurant that offers cooking classes. You wont regret staying there!
We stayed here near Cortona for a week in May 2017. A great place to do day tours by car around Tuscany. Not a castle, but pretty much everything you want. The owners are wonderful hosts. They can book any wine tours, cooking classes, golf, etc that you may want. Enjoy you trip!
