Looking for lodging suggestions in Turin for 3 days in June. We are two adults and 6 year old twins. We will have a car so not sure if it is better to stay in the city center and pay to park the car but be able to use public transport/walk within the city or stay outside the city and commute in to see the sights. If the latter, how challenging is parking within the city?
We are also interested in suggestions for a day trip from the city - preferably somewhere within an hour drive.
Thanks in advance!!
we were in Turin last year with our two daughters (mid-2os), and loved it! Stayed at Townhouse 70, great location, good breakfast. We had two rooms- our daughters' was a regular hotel room, ours had a separate (not with a door) room that had a sofa, desk, etc. Maybe they have a set-up for 4 to sleep in a suite. Also didn't have a car, so don't know about parking- why not call and ask them how that works? Front desk people were helpful. Nice to walk right out the door and be in the thick of things. We stayed busy for 5 days so did not venture out of town.
