The quirky thing about this apartment is that it's actually a little two-story house in the middle of a courtyard of an apartment building --- maybe was the caretaker's place, originally? It's a couple blocks from the Egyptian museum and there are lots of places to eat nearby. We walked everywhere except we took a bus to the car museum. I recommend it!

We stayed here in June this year and really enjoyed the location. It is close to the museums, palace and good restaurants. A few steps from the apartment entrance is the city hall square where there are a number of cafes which offer a fun place to sit and people watch.
