We are thinking that a trip to the Torino area of Italy might be something to consider. We would rent a car once there to drive to Como. Any comments on this part of Italy would be appreciated!

The valley to the west of Turin is LOADED with castles, many of which can be visited. At the far end of the valley is beautiful Aosta, with it's Roman ruins, and beyond that, Mont Blanc. The region is beautiful!

If you like coffee & chocolate, be sure to have a 'bicerin' when you drop into a café in Torino! Mmmmmmm
If you are a movie buff, be sure to visit the Museo Nazionale del Cinema in Torino.
