OK... I promise this is my last thread before my vacation!!!
Any experience with obtaining a tuk tuk while on Ischia? I would like to take a tour of the island and a little unsure about transportation there. The only tour group I found is booked on my days there.
I have seen some trip reports about that and it looks to be a fun event. They're not air conditioned, but what a hoot!

We did a three hour tour by Ape last October and had an absolute blast. If I remember correctly, it was €200. Grandaughter wanted to do it on Ischia as we had done one the year before in Matera. So with three of us, it wasn't pricey.

My daughter was just talking to one of the Ape drivers who was stopped on the street. Keep in mind she'd lived in Italy for 15 years, so speaks fluent Italian. He was the driver, explaining to my daughter what we were seeing, she translated for me. We did run into a couple who did speak English, daughter was helping another American tourist. The same thing in Matera. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
