This question was asked last year about buying tickets in advance for the Capitoline Museums (topic was closed because it was old) , all responders mentioned that there were no lines and advance purchase of tickets was not necessary. Is this still the case for 2023? I will be going to Rome the first week of November. I'm thinking the city will not be as crowded as summer months... but I can't assume!! Any insight will be appreciated.
You’ll be fine
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a line there-not even during busy season
The museum was practically empty in June 2023.
My favorite museum in Rome, it is somehow overlooked by the hordes and remains a hidden gem in plain sight. No advance purchase necessary. When you are there, don't miss the underground Tabularium with its view over the ruins of the forum.
thank you everyone., appreciate the quick feedback! I'm going!
